Human Identity and Culture (PhD Course)

A new course, and new colleagues: Together with Helena Lindgren, I designed and taught a PhD level course with the title “Human Identity and Culture”. This course discusses how culture, identity, and technology are shaped in mutual interaction. It focuses on aspects of discrimination that do emerge out of this interaction. In the course, we conduct a stakeholder analysis of planned projects, with the goal to identify possible interventions into the design and application of systems to avoid discrimination. The link below has a course description, and a commented list of readings.

  1. The very next time I read a blog, I hope that it does not disappoint me as much as this particular one. After all, I know it was my choice to read, nonetheless I truly believed you would have something interesting to talk about. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something you could fix if you were not too busy looking for attention.
